After a long period of pandemic, markets are showing emerging sentiments in this festive season. The news papers are dotted with the advertisements from almost all the sectors like real estate, automobile, electronics, fashion, life style and furnishings, jewellery and houseware etc. About 70-80% of the buyers prefer to buy houseware products from shops in person and considering this, delighted traders have placed large orders to the houseware manufacturers, who also have geared up to cash on this growing demand with new products with new designs and features. This emerging market trend was evident during the recently held show at Chennai organized by the Steel Market Info after a gap of 2 years. The show received fabulous response from both the exhibitors and visitors. Government’s decision to increase the Dearness Allowance of the employees and pensioners as well as the bonuses by the private companies to their employees has also contributed to this surging demand in markets. Forthcoming exhibitions in overseas markets have also brought cheer on the faces of Indian houseware manufacturers and exporters, who are gearing up with new products.
